A poem co -written
The day is long
And so we have sojourned
This day we yearn
For Our Father to return
The night is long
as to be un - bearable
is to be alone
The cloak of darkness un -wearable
Stillness in the silvery light
Like all things past and present
Like a head eating its' tail
The unwinding serpent , the servant
Like the night is to the day
On some Earths does he hold sway ?
Or on only some
Are they the Lucky ones ?
Laughter merry rejoicing
The smile pre - cedes the face
All the while producing
Joy like Heavens Grace
...
And so we have sojourned

For Our Father to return
The night is long
